Attend your Girl Scout's team cookie training party with her.
Take her to work with you or have her personalize her order card with a note or picture, or create a poster so your work-place will know this is her project.
Encourage her to make a telephone or email list of her friends and relatives she can contact. (Avoid spamming people who are not immediate friends and family.)
Help her customize an e-card to mail to her friends and family members. It's a fun and personal way to let everyone know it's cookie time!
Make sure all safety rules are followed. Help your Girl Scout take the Internet Safety Pledge before she uses the Internet as part of her Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program Activity at http://www.girlscouts.org/internet_safety_pledge.asp.
Help her to set personal and sales goals for the activity. Research shows that girls who set goals sell more cookies. And it's a valuable life skill! Ask her about her Girl Scout team's goals too.
Check on her progress and encourage her throughout the sale.
Coach her in her sales techniques, including how to suggest additional reasons for purchasing cookies. Role-play is a fun way to help her learn.
Allow your Girl Scout to participage in a booth sale. Volunteer to help!
Sign up to sell with her outside a supermarket on a Friday night. Studies show that more people buy cookies on Fridays more than any other day of the week!
